Anatomy and Physiology Course – Human Biology (ITEC Level 3 – Equivalent to FETAC level 5) – June 2017

The course is designed and taught by Laurence Hattersley (Osteopath). He uses his experience as both a practitioner and tutor to give the best possible learning experience to all his students.

Anatomy and Physiology can be a difficult subject to learn without a guiding hand

This course is that guiding hand

This course teaches anatomy and physiology including all major structures and systems of the human body. It will give you an excellent insight into the structure and function and the disorders affecting those systems

Weekend One:

  • Cell structure and function
  • Tissue Types – 4 types
  • Bones – Structure and Types
  • Joints – Three Types
  • Vertebral Column
  • Upper Extremity
  • The Nervous System

Weekend Two:

  • The Respiratory System
  • The Cardiovascular System
  • Blood and the Immune System
  • The Endocrine System
  • The Reproductive System

Weekend Three:

  • The Digestive System
  • Pelvis and Hip
  • Head and Neck
  • The Lower Extremity
  • The Urinary System
  • The Skin
