We are delighted to invite all members and Craniosacral Therapy students to attend our Ethics Seminar on Saturday, 30th November 2019.
The seminar will be delivered by Dr Kieran Doran. Dr. Doran is the Principal Lecturer in Professionalism as well as Medical Ethics and Legal Medicine in the School of Medicine, University of Sunderland.
He has lectured extensively in these areas in University College Cork, University College Dublin, University of Limerick, Royal College of Physicians in Ireland and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
The areas covered will include Clinical Ethics & Professionalism and Clinical Practice & the Law, incorporating Clinical Negligence, Informed Consent and Clinical Confidentiality. Dr. Doran will also facilitate a Question and Answer session as part of the seminar.
We recognise that, in recent times, our operating environment has experienced increased regulation (e.g. GDPR, Child Protection etc). In addition, as a self regulating body, it is important that the IACST continues to adopt industry best practices, which includes maintaining high standards of ethical behaviour and professionalism. We strongly encourage members to avail of this opportunity to attend the seminar. Attendance will also qualify for five CPD hours.
Payment for the seminar can be made via PayPal to Info@iacst.ie or via the link on our website.
We look forward to welcoming you on the 30th November.
